However, clicking on specific breadcrumb links may take you to an “empty” page.

It’s not empty. Instead, breadcrumbs led you to a protected database that you’re not supposed to interact with.

In these cases, a link should direct you to the interactive page that works with the selective data.

We do this because all users need READ and sometimes EDIT CONTENT access to the data in order for the views to work, but we don’t wan them to make any chances outside of those views.
