You can run it without automation, but it’s better if you have Slack and Make.com in the background
Select Recipes that you wish to make, and see what Ingredients that you need.
Know how much of the Ingredients you need to make all the recipes that you selected.
Select Ingredients and see what Recipes use it.
Each page in the toolbar menu above has instructions at the top.
FYI, I find the requirements to create recipes in this Notion project a bit onerous at first.
It helps if you first ensure you add all of your Ingredients and then Quantities that are used in Recipes
